About the Internet Access Services

The Internet Access Services for CUHK Alumni are to enable CUHK alumni to gain access to the Internet. The supported services include:

• Internet services such as E-mail, World-Wide Web (WWW), Usenet News, Telnet and File Transfer (FTP)
• A storage of 500MB for personal home page and email
• E-mail service with anti-spam and anti-virus feature accessible through POP, IMAP and webmail
• The above services can be accessed through other Internet Services Providers.
• Total 46 lines of V.90 56kbps modem for dial-up communication
• Wireless access within CUHK campus *

* Currently, the service is only available in University Library System including all Branch Libraries.

(Note that NO Unix shell will be provided)
