Almost As Annoying As Popup
Blinking Banner.
20beans.com is blinking a banner for Steven's blog now. Steven likes it. Of course, he likes popup too.
Anyway, only one blink is allowed here. You can see it blink forever there.

Surreal Conversation
Earlier this week, I had a surreal conversation with a few friends. We talked about maths, politics, advertisements, etc. Someone even asked another someone tricky questions about sexual orientation.
No, that's not the surreal part.
The drama—to me, at least—began when yet another someone started to made fun of someone's breasts and someone's partner. (Trust me, you don't want to listen to the joke. It's lame.)
No, that's not the surreal part too.
I was shocked when another someone and one more another someone laughed at the joke, hilariously. Someone asked them to stop, four times.
No, that's still not the surreal part.
I didn't know how to react. In fact, I was silent. After a while, every someone stopped laughing, the joke died, conversation continued blah blah blah. That's surreal!
I wish I told them I was feeling uncomfortable. I wish it's just I didn't realise they're very good friends that the joke was okay. I wish I was thinking too much. After all, the breasts were not mine.
Someone, grant me three wishes please.
UPDATE: I was desperately looking for the word, which I was sure I knew it but just couldn't spit it out, to use instead of ‘surreal’. I get it finally—it's ‘bizarre’. Anyway, now I like ‘surreal’ more.
Music Out There
You Must Love Her
You must love this Björk interview.
Of course, you don't have to love her music—I prefer listening to Stephy too.“You know, its ironic that just at the point the lawyers and the businessmen had calculated how to control music, the internet comes along and fucks everything up.” Björk gives the finger again, this time waving it into the air. “God bless the internet,” she adds.
And what about you, then?
“I'll still be there, waving a pirate flag.”

Playboy Interview: Google Guys
Now you don't have that excuse to read the Playboy for the Google Guys interveiw, because Jason Kottke has extracted the whole article from Google's S-1 for you.
It is long (24 PgDns for me) and it tells nothing new indeed. But you should appreciate the Google Guys' patience when they talked about the fuss about Gmail and privacy.
Btw, kottle.org is pretty, amazingly pretty. Jason Kottke said it took years to achieve elegance. Oh, and a cat too, as mentioned in the 13th point:
PC users, you're missing out. This sucker looks great in Safari, Camino, or Firefox on OS X. Lucida Grande. Smooth type. Wundervoll.
