Job Description


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform frontline duties in complaints handling, including fact-finding, handle telephone and face-to-face public / trade enquiries, conduct interviews and statement-taking

  • Conduct preliminary screening of complaints

  • Follow up on written complaints

  • Perform such other duties as may from time to time be assigned

 

Requirements

  • A recognized university degree (candidates with solid relevant experience, at least 8 years, may be exempted from this requirement)

  • At least 2 years’ relevant working experience

  • Experience in handling complaints / enquiries from members of the public, and preferably obtained from public organizations

  • Knowledge in conveyancing / property transactions / litigation will be an added advantage

  • Good analytical and communication skills and be able to handle cases independently

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Preferably attained Grade “C” or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in HKCEE, or Level 4 or above in HKDSE, or equivalent)

  • Good report writing skills

  • A team player with a mature personality and good interpersonal skills

 

Terms of Appointment

Competitive remuneration package commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointee will initially be offered a 3-year contract, subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance and the service needs of the Authority.

 

The appointee may be subject to job rotation to the Enforcement Section, which involves outdoor duties and an irregular work schedule.
