Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will play a proactive role in advancing sustainability education through outreach and fundraising. Your responsibilities will centre around establishing and nurturing partnerships with schools, educational institutions, governmental agencies, and private corporations interested in ESG to expand V'air's outreach on sustainability education.

Day-to-day tasks include writing proposals, preparing pitch decks, and reaching out to partners to develop meaningful sustainability education initiatives. It also requires impact evaluation of pending and completed projects for workload prioritization. With outstanding business development and communication skills, alongside a passion for climate action, you will contribute to V'air's vision of creating future sustainability leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to secure funding from various sources, including grants, donations, and corporate sponsorships.
• Establishing new partnerships and managing ongoing collaborations with educational institutions, governmental agencies, and other organizations to expand V'air's impact. 
• Overseeing the organization's marketing and public relations efforts to raise awareness of its mission and initiatives, ensuring the activeness and effectiveness of various communication channels with enhanced outreach results.
• Managing the development and execution of sustainability education programs and events, including prioritization of workload according to impact, marketing effect, profitability, and scalability. 
• Working closely with the board and advisors to set short and long-term KPIs and measure the organization's sustainability and educational outreach progress.

Working Mode

• Full-time, with flexible workplace and working hours
• Working on weekends or weekday evenings may be required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in relevant fields (sustainability, environmental studies, geography, business management, or related)
• 1-3 years of experience in business development and corporate partnerships, with duties including proposal development and fundraising (bonus if these experiences are related to environmental and/or educational projects). Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Business Development Executive.
• Possess knowledge and passion for sustainability/environmental education, climate change, ESG, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
