Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual as a Principal Engineer to lead our test development team in creating and enhancing cutting-edge testing solutions for advanced recording technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on firmware, channel, and software team to utilize tester capability and flexibility to enhance and standardize current testing methodology for various recording technologies
• Develop and apply advanced testing methods to optimize testing predictability
• Contribute to testing code development and assist in HDD failure analysis with methodical design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on code development, failure analysis and methodology migration

Requirements:

• M.Phil or PhD in Applied Physics, Material science or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in product testing engineering or a related area.
• Fundamental knowledge of electronic circuits and software programming, preferably Python.
• Knowledge in digital signal processing.
• Strong in multitasking and working both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills, including writing, verbal, and presentation abilities in English and Mandarin.
